Glass Blowing

My future Mother-in-law took my fiance and I glass blowing last weekend. This was my first time doing this and I really enjoyed the experience. With that being said, I'm working on some ideas for a cute Thank You card. 

I definitely want to do something that includes me working with my stamps and with Cricut. 

I still have not seen the items that I worked on at the glass blowing class, but as soon as I do, I will post them and maybe get a little inspiration for the Thank You card along the way.

Friendship Card

This is a card that I made this afternoon. I used my Cricut Expression using Paper Pups and Accent Essentials. I also used a Stampabilities - A Friend Stamp for the message below. For accents on the tree, I used buttons and gel stickers.

I think this card turned out pretty well.

Favorite New Obsession - Stamping!

So a couple of weeks ago, I bought a thing of black ink and a few dollar stamps from Michaels. Who would have known it would have started another addiction for me in paper crafting. I've seen what others have done with their stamps in paper crafting and I decided I wanted to do the same thing.

Well this week as I was checking my favorite sales papers Hobby Lobby and Michaels, I noticed that Hobby Lobby was having a 50% off sale on stamps and ink. I could not resist. On my lunch break, I went to Hobby Lobby and had a ball. I just didn't have enough time to really look over everything.

But what I did end up getting I love.

Happy Valentines Day

I'm having a VDAY card making session and so far, I've gotten two out in the last two hours. Hopefully I can get some more completed tonight.

• Make card from cardstock
• Black area - Cricut Expression - Accent Essentials - <Accent28s> size 5 3/4"
• White area - Cricut Expression - Accent Essentials - <Accent28s> size 5"
• Hearts - Cricut Expression - Paper Pups Cartridge - Love accent
• Background Hearts
• Red Large Heart - 3 3/4" Decorative heart layering 3 1/4"
• Black/White Polka Dot heart - 2 3/4" Red heart layering 2 1/4"
• Silver Letter Stickers - Happy Valentines Day
• Black and White Ribbon for bow - white brad for center piece
• White large brad for top and bottom corners

V-DAY Hearts Recipe

• Make card from cardstock - 7 1/2" Red cardstock cut from Cricut Expression - Cartridge Sentimentals - Accent Card2
• 7" White cardstock for second layering. Cut from the same cartridge - Accent Card2, but cut the card in half
• 6" Cardboard brown cardstock - cut from Sentimentals Cartridge
• Hearts - cut card in half - Accent Card2
• 2 3/4" Large Heart - Cut from Accent Essentials - Accent36
• 2 1/2" Small Heart - Cut from Accent Essentials - Accent36
• Red Polka Dot Ribbon
• 2 Silver Heart Brads
• Rubber Stamp - Love You
